The Park Services Attendant will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the property, including guest areas, attractions, restrooms, and dining areas. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have strong attention to detail, and are committed to providing an exceptional guest experience.Key Responsibilities:
1.Park Cleanliness and Maintenance:
o Regularly clean and sanitize public areas, including walkways, seating areas, restrooms, locker rooms, and dining spaces. o Ensure that trash and recycling bins are emptied regularly and that trash is properly disposed of. o Monitor and clean water attractions, poolside and ride areas to ensure cleanliness and safety. o Sweep, mop, and wipe down surfaces as needed to keep the park neat and inviting. o Assist with cleaning and maintaining park grounds, including sweeping up litter, removing debris, and ensuring that all areas are safe for guests. 2.Guest Services and Support:
o Provide friendly, helpful assistance to guests as needed, offering directions and answering questions about the park's attractions and amenities. o Ensure that guests have a positive experience by addressing any concerns regarding park cleanliness or facilities. o Assist in managing lost and found items, reporting any missing or found items to the appropriate department. 3.Restroom and Facility Maintenance:
o Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of restroom facilities throughout the day. o Regularly inspect restroom facilities to ensure they are stocked and in good condition, including restocking supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. o Report any maintenance issues, broken equipment, or safety concerns to management immediately. 4.Safety and Security:
o Monitor guest behavior and the park environment, ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed. o Respond promptly to any spills, accidents, or safety hazards in the park and report them to supervisors for immediate action. o Assist in crowd management and ensure proper guest flow during peak times to maintain a comfortable environment. 5.Park Events and Support:
o Assist with setting up or breaking down special events, promotions, or park activities. o Help manage guest flow during high-traffic times, ensuring efficient and orderly access to attractions. o Work with other departments, such as Food & Beverage or Guest Services, to maintain an excellent park experience. 6.Team Collaboration:
o Work as part of a team to ensure all areas of the park are clean and well-maintained throughout the day. o Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors to coordinate efforts and address park needs. o Follow park policies and procedures to ensure a safe, friendly, and professional environment.Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Friendly, energetic, and dependable, with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team and assist others when needed.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak hours during the summer season.
