General Description of Work The Chechessee Creek Club Golf Course Ranger helps ensure a safe, enjoyable, and efficient experience for all golfers by monitoring pace of play, enforcing course rules, assisting guests, and maintaining order on the golf course. Rangers serve as ambassadors of the golf facility and provide excellent customer service while promoting course etiquette. Report course maintenance issues, safety hazards, or emergencies to management. Ensure golfers follow cart rules and adhere to designated cart paths. Coordinate with golf shop staff, starters, and maintenance personnel as needed. Provide assistance during tournaments, outings, and special events. Monitor weather conditions and notify players of delays or dangerous conditions. Help maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Qualifications Knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and course operations preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to interact courteously with golfers of all skill levels. Reliable, professional, and self-motivated. Ability to spend extended periods outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license may be required to operate golf carts. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive a golf cart for extended periods. Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and rain. Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. #C3G
