A Pest Control Technician controls problems with unwanted animals and insects in residences, commercial buildings and the areas around them. Inspects buildings, identifies pests and determines pest control treatment. Provides applications of chemical pesticides and sets traps or bait. Makes minor building repairs as needed to keep pests out.

Job Description

Requirements:

•Candidates must currently reside in the local area•Some work experience is required. Previous experience in a related field is helpful but not necessary—we are willing to train the right candidate. Must maintain an acceptable driving record and be eligible for coverage under the company's insurance policy Must be able to pass the State Plant Board exam to obtain required licensing Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor are required Job Duties include, but are not limited to: Crawling under and inspecting residential structures Performing termite treatments in accordance with regulations and company procedures Completing service documentation and paperwork using company-issued tablets

Compensation & Advancement:

This position includes a 45-day probationary period Upon successful completion of the probationary period and passing the State Plant Board exam, the employee will be eligible for a $1.00 per hour increase
