Duties Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and entry points using specialized tools and techniques. Apply chemical agents safely and effectively, following all pesticide management guidelines and safety protocols. Implement integrated pest management strategies tailored to each client's needs, combining chemical, mechanical, and environmental controls. Operate company vehicles responsibly, ensuring compliance with driving regulations and maintaining vehicle safety standards. Use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed to access hard-to-reach areas or perform outdoor work such as lawn care or landscaping. Enter confined spaces safely by following established confined space entry safety procedures. Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, chemicals used, and client interactions for compliance and reporting purposes. Skills Proven experience in pest control, pesticide application, or related outdoor work such as farming or landscaping. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and ladder use safely. Knowledge of entomology principles to accurately identify pests and recommend effective treatments. Familiarity with chemical agent handling, pesticide management, and pesticide application techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Understanding of safety protocols including respiratory protection, ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, and chemical handling safety. Ability to follow safety protocol adherence consistently while working outdoors or in confined spaces. Experience with pest control chemical handling and integrated pest management practices. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; comfortable operating company vehicles responsibly.
