Pest Control Supervisor / Specialty Technician Richland Pest & Bee Control — Connecticut Richland Pest & Bee Control is looking for a highly qualified Pest Control Supervisor / Specialty Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an experienced pest control professional who holds a Connecticut Supervisory License and is capable of performing advanced pest control services while helping support field operations, technician development, and specialty work. Position Overview This role combines the responsibilities of a licensed pest control supervisor with the hands-on work of a specialty technician. The right candidate will be experienced, professional, dependable, and comfortable handling advanced pest issues, specialty services, customer communication, and field support. Responsibilities The Pest Control Supervisor / Specialty Technician will be responsible for: Performing general and specialty pest control services Handling advanced pest issues, inspections, and treatments Performing or assisting with termite, rodent, exclusion, bee/wasp, carpenter ant, and specialty pest services Supporting technicians in the field when guidance or advanced knowledge is needed Helping ensure services are performed safely, correctly, and professionally Communicating clearly with customers about findings, treatments, and recommendations Identifying structural pest issues and recommending long-term solutions Assisting with quality control and service standards Supporting company growth through professionalism, customer service, and technical expertise Requirements Qualified candidates should have: A valid Connecticut Pest Control Supervisory License Strong pest control knowledge and field experience Ability to perform specialty pest control services Strong customer service and communication skills A professional appearance and attitude Good problem-solving ability A strong work ethic and dependable character Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred Handyman-type skills are a plus, especially for exclusion and structural pest work Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Experienced and confident in the field Professional with customers Detail-oriented and safety-focused Able to explain pest issues clearly Comfortable handling higher-level services Interested in growing with a respected local company A team player who can help support other technicians when needed Compensation & Benefits Richland Pest & Bee Control offers: Highly competitive pay based on experience and licensing Bonus opportunities Commission opportunities Paid time off Holiday pay 401(k) 401(k) match Paid training Employee discount AAA membership Growth opportunities within the company About Richland Pest & Bee Control Richland Pest & Bee Control is a highly rated, family-owned pest control company with decades of experience serving Connecticut homeowners and businesses.
