Responsibilities Conduct wildlife and pest inspections across various outdoor sites, identifying species and potential hazards Implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies using chemical agents and mechanical tools to control pests safely and effectively Operate company vehicles, farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools to perform habitat maintenance and pest control tasks Follow strict safety protocols including confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection, and chemical handling guidelines Use ladder safety procedures for elevated inspections or treatments while ensuring personal and team safety Manage pesticide application processes with knowledge of pesticide management, pest control chemicals, and environmental regulations Document all field activities accurately through detailed reports and logs for compliance and project tracking Skills Strong knowledge of pest control techniques, pesticide application, and chemical agent handling Experience with ladder use, ladder safety procedures, and confined space entry safety protocols Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, and lawn care equipment Familiarity with entomology principles to identify insect species and understand their behaviors Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or community members about wildlife management efforts Ability to operate company vehicles safely following driving regulations and safety standards Outdoor work experience in environments such as farms, landscaping projects, or agricultural settings Knowledge of integrated pest management practices and pesticide management regulations Understanding of safety protocol adherence including respiratory protection measures during chemical handling This role offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in wildlife management while making a tangible impact on environmental health.
