Job Overview We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses primarily on fire ant inspection, treatment, and prevention, with opportunities to learn other pest management techniques. Duties Inspect residential and commercial properties for fire ant activity and nesting sites Apply professional-grade fire ant treatments according to safety and company standards Educate customers on fire ant prevention and maintenance tips Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with customers Safely handle and store pest control chemicals and equipment Participate in ongoing training to stay current on best practices and safety procedures Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and courtesy Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong communication and customer service skills Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently Previous pest control or lawn care experience preferred (but not required) Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods Must be able to work Monday through Saturday Must have a clean driving record (no suspensions, arrests, etc.) Must have experience operating an ATV Must be over the age of 25 Why Join Our Team Family-oriented work culture - you're not just an employee, you're part of our team Competitive pay with performance bonuses Paid training and certification support Opportunities for advancement as we grow Company vehicle and equipment provided Work-life balance - we value time with family as much as you do This job's pay-rate is based mainly off of commission This position is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor work, environmental health, and providing excellent service to clients.
