Full Job Description Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The CPC Technician position is to perform service calls, initial services, and fill in for GHP Specialist routes when techs call out or on PTO. They may also provide overflow coverage of recurring services as deemed necessary by management. These technicians' days can vary by service area and location daily and require flexible scheduling day by day.
Duties include:
Provide timely and effective pest detection, elimination and prevention solutions to an established route of commercial customers Safely driving a company vehicle Long periods of walking, kneeling, squatting. Could involve walking up to 7 miles per day. Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers Use of handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documents Provide customers with general information about our various services Conduct service calls as needed Problem solving and/or complaint resolution Enjoy working outdoors Not have a fear of bugs, snakes, rodents, etc. Not have a fear of tight spaces Be able to withstand long periods of squatting, standing and walking Be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs Have excellent listening and communication skills Be competent with the use of new technology Be organized and able to manage their own daily route Preferred skills and qualifications: Pest control experience Customer service experience Experience working outdoors Sales experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Relationship building skills Problem solving skills To be qualified: You must enjoy hands on, outdoor work! Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a valid Florida driver's license with minimal moving violation points Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening High School Diploma or equivalent
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type:
This is a full-time position. Some Saturdays may be required.
Travel:
Local daily travel within the assigned territory.
