In this energetic role, you will apply your expertise in pest management to protect residential, commercial, and agricultural environments. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure safe, effective pest control solutions that meet customer needs while adhering to strict safety standards. This position offers the opportunity to develop specialized skills in chemical handling, entomology, and integrated pest management, all while providing exceptional service to our valued clients. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and entry points. Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely and accurately following pesticide management protocols. Utilize ladders, hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery to access hard-to-reach areas for treatment. Implement integrated pest management strategies tailored to each situation, emphasizing environmentally responsible practices. Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, pest activity, and treatment outcomes in compliance with safety protocols. Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation between job sites, ensuring adherence to driving safety standards. Communicate clearly with clients regarding pest issues, treatment plans, and safety precautions to enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements Prior experience or knowledge in pest control, pesticide application, or related outdoor work such as lawn care, farming, or landscaping. Familiarity with ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection equipment, and chemical handling safety measures. Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment used in pest control operations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety protocol adherence. Knowledge of entomology principles and integrated pest management techniques is highly desirable.
