Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pest Control Utility Technician, where you'll play a vital role in safeguarding properties from unwanted pests through effective chemical and mechanical methods. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and equipment, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for applying pest control solutions safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols, and ensuring client satisfaction. Compensation shall depend upon experience, capabilities and professionalism. Responsibilities Conduct pest inspections on residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity and entry points. Apply chemical pest control agents following all safety guidelines, including proper handling of pesticides and use of respiratory protection. Operate company vehicles and power tools safely to reach job sites and perform pest control tasks efficiently. Sometimes the need to utilize hand tools, ladders, and other equipment to access difficult areas such as attics and crawl spaces to perform inspections and treatments. Follow integrated pest management strategies to minimize chemical use while maximizing pest eradication effectiveness. Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, safety procedures followed, and customer interactions for compliance and quality assurance. Provide excellent customer service by explaining treatment plans, answering questions, and ensuring client satisfaction with the results. Experience Prior experience in the pest control industry in Georgia is required. We service residential, commercial and industrial accounts. Currently registered or certified with the State Department of Agriculture Structural Pest Division. Experience and tested in the wdo category is a plus. Knowledge of ladder safety procedures and safety protocol adherence is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely. Must pass criminal background check, MVR and drug test. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service; ability to work independently in residential, commercial and industrial environments.
