Job Overview With a $500 signing bonus. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing effective pest management solutions to residential and commercial clients. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments. Our office is located in Topeka Ks; interviews and part of training will take place at our office. However, we are looking to hire someone in Manhattan & Junction City to provide service for our customers in that area. If hired, upon completion of training the majority of routes assigned to you would be closest to your home area. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment plans. Apply pesticides and other treatments safely and effectively while adhering to industry regulations and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment details and customer interactions. Provide exceptional customer service by educating clients on pest prevention strategies and addressing any concerns they may have. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as necessary to complete tasks efficiently. Drive to various job sites in a timely manner while ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained and stocked with necessary supplies. Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve overall operational efficiency. Clean Background check, due to the nature of entering customer homes we cannot accept any background history of Theft, Assault, Battery, Domestic Violence or any other violent criminal charges. Experience Previous experience in pest control or related fields such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is preferred. Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to pest control tasks. Strong driving skills with a valid driver's license; experience operating farm machinery is a plus. Sales experience is advantageous, as you will be expected to promote services effectively to clients.
