The Pest Control Technician will represent Rochester Pest Pro by performing inspections, presenting finding to the office for pricing and following through by performing those services. You will conduct investigations to determine the source of pest activity and then build a solution of products and services to rid the area of pests.

What will you do:

Inspect premises to identify infestation source and extent of damage to property Recommend treatment and prevention methods for pest problems to clients Spray or dust chemical solutions, powders, or gases into cracks, cervices, interior & exterior Clean work site after completion of job Analyze pest control activity in order to explain, sell and implement an effective plan of action in reducing pest activity Maintain truck and servicing equipment Follow servicing and safety protocols Selling and servicing generated leads, referrals Servicing daily route or assigned work Perform other duties as required What you will need: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred Prior experience working as a Pest Control Technician preferred but not required Active New York license preferred but not required. We will train the right person! Certification in category 7F and 7A is preferred Working conditions: Frequently required to talk and hear Use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls Constantly required to stand; climb; walk; push; pull and reach with hands and arms Occasionally crawl in confined spaces Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus Noise level in the work environment is usually high Employee is regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions

Pay:

$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
