They will report directly to the Pest Manager at our Austin location. As a primary representative of the company in the field, you will ensure high quality standards, strict adherence to safety protocols, and outstanding customer satisfaction to support long-term client retention. Duties Complete daily service routes efficiently, providing targeted pest management treatments for commercial and residential accounts. Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest activity, harborage areas, risk factors, and structural entry points. Utilize integrated pest management (IPM) practices to apply pesticides, baits, and exclusion methods safely and effectively. Maintain accurate digital route logs, service reports, chemical application records, and client notes in real-time. Maintain equipment, service vehicles, and inventory levels in a clean, functional, and organized manner. Explain treatment plans, preventative measures, and post-service recommendations clearly to clients. Respond to customer inquiries or concerns in a professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented manner. Partner with the Account Management and Sales teams to identify upsell opportunities or address specialized treatment needs. Proactively recruit, interview, and hire landscape crew members and crew leaders in a competitive labor market. Drive workforce satisfaction, manage pay and performance incentive structures, ensure precise payroll timekeeping, and foster a culture of people first where frontline field workers want to stay and grow. Adhere strictly to state pesticide regulations (TDA/SPCB), label instructions, OSHA compliance, and safety standards. Safely operate company fleet vehicles and field equipment, maintaining an acceptable driving record. Participate in ongoing trade training, safety meetings, and licensing/recertification programs. Qualifications Experience:

1-3+ years of experience in commercial or residential pest control field operations preferred (entry-level candidates with strong mechanical/service backgrounds considered).

Licensing:

Valid Commercial Certified Applicator or Technician License issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) / Structural Pest Control Service (SPCS) preferred (or ability to acquire upon hire).

Driving Record:

Valid driver's license with a clean, acceptable driving record.

Trade Expertise:

Familiarity with Integrated Pest Management (IPM), common Texas pests, equipment maintenance, and chemical safety/handling.

Bilingual Skills:

Bilingual fluency (English / Spanish) is strongly preferred to effectively communicate with team members and diverse clients.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, crawl into tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces), and stand/walk for extended periods.
