JOB DESCRIPTION A
pest management professional (PMP) works on prevention and control of a wide variety of pests (insects, other arthropods, nuisance wildlife, etc.), to protect public health interests and community welfare. We are currently seeking an optimistic, growth driven and efficient individual and interested in continuing fulfilling career in the pest control industry as a full-time Sales Pest Control Technician. Previous experience is required. Work includes but is not limited to door-to-door sales, new lead generation, pest control treatments and integrated pest management (IPM). Continuing education in pest management and safety will be continuously provided, therefore the ideal candidate must enjoy constant learning and engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate must: Have great communication skills to provide remarkable customer service in person or by phone. Have great sales skills and experience Adapt and work on his own on door to door sales Have a strong work ethic, honesty and responsibility. Be able to carry 20 lbs - 80 lbs and enjoy working outdoors. Have good basic tool skills and safety knowledge in handyman work, drilling, hammering, sealing, etc. Be able to work on roofs or other high surfaces comfortably, safely handle ladder and lift machinery, be able to climb or crawl in order to get to desired application areas. Must be at least 21 years of age, have a clean criminal record, valid drivers license and a clear driving record. Be a US citizen or legal permanent resident. Be able to pass criminal background checks, motor vehicle record checks, and drug screening. Must have a high school diploma.
COMPENSATION
Starting in $17-20/hr Starting $20/hr for selected specialized work
