Kindred Pest Control is looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Termite Technician to join our Houston Tier 3 branch. This is a lead position for an experienced termite professional who can confidently sell and service their own termite accounts, as well as service and maintain our current termite customers. The Lead Termite Technician will also handle termite inspections and calls coming in from the office while providing leadership and support to the team. The ideal candidate should show up motivated, have a great attitude, and be ready to take on a leadership role. Compensation

• $55,100 starting annual salary guaranteed
• 10% commission on termite sales you make and service
• Commission is in addition to the base salary

• Monday through Friday
• Every other Saturday
• Must be available to work the required schedule Primary Responsibilities
• Handle all termite accounts assigned to you
• Perform termite inspections and respond to termite calls coming in from the office
• Sell and service your own termite accounts from start to finish
• Provide accurate treatment recommendations and quotes
• Have strong knowledge of the termite products and treatment options offered by Kindred Pest Control
• Install termite bait stations, including systems similar to Sentricon
• Complete TDA disclosures accurately and thoroughly
• Perform interior termite baiting by drilling into walls and using a stud finder to locate appropriate treatment areas
• Use a measuring wheel to accurately determine the exterior square footage of homes for accurate quotes and disclosures
• Properly probe the ground before drilling or installing equipment to help avoid water lines, sprinkler lines, and other underground utilities
• Perform termite treatments and services according to company standards and applicable requirements
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers and explain treatment recommendations and procedures Lead Responsibilities
• Lead and support the termite team
• Provide guidance and assistance to other technicians
• Help train and mentor team members on termite services, products, and proper treatment procedures
• Maintain a positive, motivated, and professional attitude
• Take initiative and demonstrate strong leadership in the field
• Complete assigned lead activities and responsibilities when termite calls and inspections are slow
• Work closely with management to help maintain service quality and team performance Additional Responsibilities When termite calls and inspections are slow, the Lead Termite Technician may be assigned additional lead activities that need to be completed.

The Lead Termite Technician may also be required to service accounts on the general pest control side of the business when needed. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Termite Certified Applicator license/certification
• ⁠Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Proven experience selling and servicing your own termite accounts
• Hands-on experience performing termite inspections and treatments
• Experience installing termite bait stations, including Sentricon-type systems
• Experience completing TDA disclosures accurately
• Experience with interior termite baiting and using a stud finder
• Ability to accurately measure exterior square footage using a measuring wheel
• Knowledge of proper ground probing procedures and awareness of underground water and sprinkler lines
• Strong knowledge of termite control methods, products, and treatment procedures
• Strong understanding of the termite products and services offered by the company
• Previous leadership, training, or mentoring experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to lead and support a team
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned accounts
• Willingness and ability to perform general pest control services when needed
• Ability to work Monday through Friday and every other Saturday What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, knowledgeable, and ready to lead.

Your main priority will be handling termite accounts, termite inspections, and termite calls from the office while providing excellent service to customers. When termite activity is slower, you should be prepared to step into your lead responsibilities, assist the team, complete assigned activities, and service general pest control accounts as needed.
