Day Shift Benefits Help for . Pest Control Service Technician ABC Insect Control is looking to fill a long-term position for a Pest Control Service Technician. This is a full-time, year-round position offering at least 40 hours per week, with a good opportunity for overtime.
Starting Pay:
$10.00 per hour with no experience. Pay is negotiable for applicants who have a valid pest control technician license and/or relevant experience. Overtime is paid at time and a half. ABC Insect Control is a full-service pest control company providing pest control, bee removal, termite control, rodent trapping and removal, and small animal control services. Year-round employment is expected, with no long-term seasonal downtime. Qualifications & Requirements
Serious applicants only.
No experience necessary; training will be provided.
Must have a valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record. No DUI within the last 5 years.
Must pass a drug test.
Must have reliable transportation to work.
Must be available to work Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings (half day).
Must not be allergic to bees or other insect bites.
Must be physically able to perform heavy lifting, digging/trenching, pulling, demolition, climbing, and crawling.
Must be able to safely operate power tools.
Must be comfortable regularly climbing ladders and entering crawl spaces and attics.
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Must be able to travel and navigate throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
Must be dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
Physical Requirements This position involves moderate to heavy manual labor and requires employees to work in and around residential properties. Applicants must be comfortable working in confined spaces, climbing ladders, entering attics and crawl spaces, digging and trenching, and performing physically demanding tasks.
