Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Pest Control Salesman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling pest control services to residential and commercial clients, ensuring effective pest management solutions are tailored to each customer's needs. Your expertise will help protect properties from pests while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine sales skills with technical knowledge of pest control methods, contributing to the safety and comfort of our clients' environments. Responsibilities Engage with potential and existing customers to promote pest control services, explaining benefits and solutions clearly. Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues using appropriate tools and techniques. Develop customized pest management plans based on client needs, utilizing integrated pest management strategies. Safely handle and apply chemical agents for pest control, adhering strictly to safety protocols and pesticide management regulations. Operate company vehicles responsibly, ensuring proper maintenance and compliance with driving safety standards. Use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for access and treatment applications in outdoor or hard-to-reach areas. Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, pesticide applications, and service reports for regulatory compliance. Follow all safety procedures including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection protocols during treatments. Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, addressing concerns promptly and professionally. Requirements Proven experience in sales, pest control, or related outdoor work such as farming, landscaping, or agriculture. Knowledge of pesticide application techniques, chemical handling, and integrated pest management principles. Ability to operate ladders safely following ladder safety procedures; familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and land management equipment is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to pest control equipment and general outdoor machinery operation. Understanding of confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection standards for chemical handling. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively. Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; experience with outdoor work environments such as farms or landscaped areas is advantageous.
