Seeking one or two pest control technicians to join our small team. We offer great pay, benefits, and work environment. We are expanding our services to offer pest control for mice, primarily targetting attics and rim joist (sill box) where mice enter and nest.

OUR PROGRESSION INTO PEST CONTROL SERVICESWILL BE GRADUAL, SO YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO LEARN AND WORK AS AN INSULATION TECHNICIAN UNTIL PEST CONTROL SERVICES FILL THE WORK SCHEDULE.

Because smaller to medium sized individuals are ideal for attic work, and because there are weight limits for ceilings and the small spaces that we must access in attics, the maximum body weight for this position with summer clothes is 190 pounds. A valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record are required. Please do not apply if you are not in compliance with these requirements.

Pay:

Starting pay is up to $34/hour for individuals with a minimum 4 years of pest control experience, including supervising a crew and direct interaction with the customer. Starting pay for 1-3 years pest control experiene is $26-33/hour.

Employee Benefits:

• Single health and dental plan is available after 90 days.
• We currently pay 50% of the health and dental premium for our employees.
• We provide 3 weeks of paid time off during the first twelve months and 4 weeks of paid time off after year two.
• We pay DAILY overtime (1.5 x regular pay) after 8 hours of work.
• You report to our warehouse daily, not the worksite (we pay for your travel time to the job site)
• Start time at warehouse is usually 6:30 AM
• No weekends!

Work Description:

Here are some of the work responsibilities for when we do residential insulation work

• load the insulation blower hopper
• blowing insulation into an attic
• removing old insulation from attics, such as fiberglass batts
• seal air leaks (holes) in the attic floor with expanding foam
• install weatherstripping material to access panels
• install roof and soffit vents
• install loose-blown cellulose insulation in attics and walls
• drive our medium-sized box trucks All employees need to be agile and able to work on rooftops and in attics, but past experience in attics is not required. If you know how to work hard this is a great job for you. You will need these skills and abilities:
• We are a tobacco free company, no smoking, chewing, vaping at work or job site
• You must have the endurance to work a full 6-8 hour day on site
• You must be able to follow directions and then work independently of others
• You must have a valid WI driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) so you are able to drive our trucks (we will train you) and are approved for coverage through our business auto insurance. This is a condition of employment.
• You must have reliable transportation to meet at our warehouse at the start of our workday (our usual start time is 6:30 am, but occasionally we start earlier or later) We supply all of the required training, tools, and personal safety apparel (tools, gloves, Tyvek suits, respirators, etc).

This job has the possibility for greater responsibility and a higher rate of pay. Individuals who do well will have the option to make mor emoney and/or be a crew supervisor and/or become trained in insulation removal work. Some of our current employee make over $40/hr.
