Phoenix, AZ Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Outdoor work experience Moving Driver's License Rigging Construction experience Full Job Description Job Summary We are looking for a hardworking and dependable Tree Crew Groundsman to support our tree removal, trimming, and maintenance crews. The Groundsman works on the ground to assist climbers and equipment operators while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient job site. Responsibilities Assist tree climbers and crew members with daily tree trimming and removal operations. Operate chainsaws, pole saws, chippers, blowers, and other equipment as trained. Feed branches and brush into the wood chipper safely. Drag, stack, and remove branches, logs, and debris from job sites. Assist with ropes, rigging, and lowering tree limbs under direction of the crew. Help load and unload equipment, tools, and materials. Maintain and organize trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment. Perform job-site cleanup, including raking, blowing, and removal of wood chips and debris. Follow all company safety procedures and instructions from the crew leader. Maintain a professional and respectful attitude with customers and coworkers. Perform other general labor duties as needed. Qualifications Previous tree service, landscaping, or construction experience is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn proper tree-care techniques and safety procedures. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy branches, logs, and equipment. Comfortable working around chainsaws, chippers, and other equipment. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work well as part of a team. Valid driver's license is a plus. Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
