A Tree Climber or Trimmer trims and prunes trees. Clears away excess branches near utility lines or over roads or sidewalks. Prunes dead or diseased tree limbs to improve the appearance and health of the tree. Uses rigging equipment and may work from a truck powered lift; uses chain saws and other power equipment.

Job Description

Company provides emergency restoration and disaster recovery services to residential and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to new EMS assignments when needed and provide initial assessment.
  • Responsible for photo documentation prior to, during and at completion of work.
  • Create sketches when required.
  • Set/pick-up equipment.
  • Conduct moisture checks
  • Assist other technicians on various tasks when needed.
(i.e. demo, trash pick-up, etc) Lead Technicians should have at a minimum a WRT certification, understand moisture mapping, and a good driving record. will also alternate being on-call. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. Stand, walk, and drive for extended periods; occasionally sit, climb ladders, and use scaffolding or lifts. Frequently work around chemicals, at ceiling heights, in confined spaces (like crawl spaces, attics), and overhead. Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing. IICRC (WTR, ASD, AMRT and FSRT) Certified or ability to obtain. Experience with Xactanalysis, DASH, Contents Trak, MICA, Fire & Ice a plus. We will run a background check upon providing a conditional offer of employment and you must have a good driving record. Evening and weekend work required.
Pay:
$22.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
