The Opportunity This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced tree professional who understands that being a great foreman is about more than running a crew. We want someone who knows the tree care industry, takes pride in their work, leads by example, and is willing to take ownership of the job from start to finish. The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow with the company as we expand our crews, equipment, services, and customer base. For the right person, the position can also develop into a broader leadership role involving estimating and sales several afternoons per week . Key Responsibilities Lead and manage tree care crews on a daily basis. Perform and oversee professional tree removals, pruning, storm work, and technical tree operations. Be highly proficient in rigging and advanced tree removal techniques . Have experience with crane-assisted tree removals and crane operations . Safely operate and oversee a wide range of tree care and heavy equipment, including: Log trucks Chippers Stump grinders Mini skid steers with grapples Excavators with grapples Other industry-specific equipment Properly assess jobsites, trees, equipment needs, and potential hazards. Identify trees and understand tree species, structure, health, defects, and proper care. Maintain a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship. Train and develop crew members. Hold yourself and your crew accountable for productivity, safety, equipment, and job quality. Communicate professionally with customers and management. Help maintain equipment and ensure it is being operated and cared for properly. Represent the company professionally in the field and with customers.
