Prunes dead or diseased tree limbs to improve the appearance and health of the tree. Uses rigging equipment and may work from a truck powered lift; uses chain saws and other power equipment.

Job Description
Tree Crew Member / Equipment Operator — $27-$30/hour Macomber Tree is looking for an experienced, dependable tree crew member to join our growing company.
Pay:
$27-$30/hour, depending on experience and abilityJob Type:
Full-time We have a strong workload, consistent bookings, and are looking for someone who can come in and contribute immediately. We're a smaller company, so we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works hard, takes care of equipment, and wants to grow with the company. What You'll Be Doing Tree removals and pruning- Running ropes and assisting with rigging
- Chipping and processing brush
- Operating mini skid steer and other equipment
- Operating and maintaining chainsaws
- Driving trucks and trailers if qualified
- Jobsite setup and cleanup
- Equipment maintenance and daily inspections
- Working closely with the climber and rest of the crew to keep jobs moving efficiently Who We're Looking For We are not looking for someone who needs to be taught how to work.
You should be:
- Reliable and on time
- Comfortable working outside year-round
- Physically capable of demanding work
- Safe and competent around chainsaws and equipment
- Able to work efficiently without constant supervision
- Willing to learn and take on more responsibility
- Respectful of customers, coworkers, trucks, and equipment
- Drug-free while working and able to show up ready to work Big Plus If You Have
- Professional tree-care experience
- Climbing experience
- Rigging experience
- CDL
- Experience driving trucks and trailers
- Mini skid steer / loader experience
- Chipper experience
- Crane or grapple experience
- Mechanical ability
- Arborist credentials or relevant certifications
- You do not need to have every qualification above.

- $27-$30/hour depending on experience, qualifications, and what you can bring to the crew.
- Higher-end pay is intended for someone who can step onto a tree job and be productive with minimal supervision.
