We are looking for an experienced Crew Foreman / Lead who knows the industry, respects the gear, and can run a productive crew safely every day. Job Summary As Crew Lead, you will lead daily field operations on job sites ranging from fine pruning and hazardous removals to lot clearing. You will direct the ground crew, manage job site safety, operate equipment, and maintain high standards of customer service and property protection.

Key Responsibilities Leadership:

Lead, train, and supervise a 2-3 person crew on residential and commercial tree jobs.

Job Site Safety:

Conduct daily tailgate safety meetings, enforce

OSHA/ANSI Z133

safety standards, and ensure proper PPE usage at all times.

Operations & Rigging:

Execute or direct complex tree removals, removals in tight spaces, and structural pruning using proper rigging techniques.

Equipment Care:

Safely operate and perform routine maintenance checks on brush chippers, chainsaws, trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment (skid steers/bucket trucks, if applicable).

Efficiency & Execution:

Plan job workflow to complete projects safely, on schedule, and up to Top Tier standards.

Customer Interaction:

Communicate professionally with homeowners and property managers on-site to ensure full satisfaction before leaving the job.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of professional tree care experience (pruning, rigging, removals).

Leadership Experience:

At least 2 years in a lead hand or foreman role preferred.

Driver's License:

Valid Driver's License required with a clean driving record (CDL Class A or B is a major plus).

Technical Skills:

Deep knowledge of tree species, proper cutting technique, notch/drop methods, and advanced rigging setups.

Physical Capability:

Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat, lift 50+ lbs consistently, and perform manual labor throughout the shift.
