A Tree Climber or Trimmer trims and prunes trees. Clears away excess branches near utility lines or over roads or sidewalks. Prunes dead or diseased tree limbs to improve the appearance and health of the tree. Uses rigging equipment and may work from a truck powered lift; uses chain saws and other power equipment.

Job DescriptionDeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Seasonal General Laborer with a great attitude and strong work ethic. This position will support day-to-day field operations and assist with ground clearing and tree removal, vegetation management, and general labor duties.
This is a temporary seasonal position expected to last approximately 6-10 weeks.
Performs mowing and weed-eating.
Performs weed cutting and removal.
Tree cutting experience is a plus.
Drives company vehicles.
Uses all power tools safely. Uses all equipment safely.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to follow directions.
Mowing, weed-eating, tree removal experience.
Must have a valid driver's license with a 5-year clean MVR.Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and federal background check.
Ability to travel out of state.
Ability to be gone for 2 weeks if needed.
Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Prior vegetation spraying, landscaping, painting, tree work, or grounds maintenance experience preferred.

COMPENSATION/ SCHEDULE
Pay:
$22-24 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.Temporary seasonal position - approximately 6-10 weeks.
