A Tree Climber or Trimmer trims and prunes trees. Clears away excess branches near utility lines or over roads or sidewalks. Prunes dead or diseased tree limbs to improve the appearance and health of the tree. Uses rigging equipment and may work from a truck powered lift; uses chain saws and other power equipment.

Safe work environment Flexible working hours Growth opportunities On-the-job training Lively atmosphere We are seeking experienced individuals to join our team in Valparaiso, IN. We are a family-owned and operated tree care company that has been in service for over 25 years. We value professionalism, quality, and safety in every aspect of our work. You would be a member of a 3-4 person team. Applicant must be able to work in extreme conditions and physically capable of standing all day/lifting 50 lbs. If poison ivy is a major concern for you, this may not be your cup of tea. Pay is based on experience. You must have a valid drivers license and be willing to obtain a for-hire endorsement before date of hire. (if you currently do not have one) You must be a confident driver, as part of the job will include driving trucks and backing up trailers. Experience in this industry is required. This is a year round full-time position Monday-Friday 7am-4pm (average) There will be a working interview prior to hiring.
