$25-32/hour + time and a half after 40 hours Immediate Need A leading vegetation management and utility support services company is hiring a Mobile Road Technician for its fleet operations team. You'll keep medium-duty trucks and specialized tree and vegetation equipment running in the field. When a bucket truck goes down on a right-of-way, you're the one who gets the crew back to work. Your service area covers Louisiana, East Texas, southern Arkansas, and Mississippi, so expect to cross state lines regularly. This is a road role, not a shop role. What You'll Be Doing Diagnose, repair, and run preventative maintenance on medium-duty trucks (F750s, Freightliner M2s, Internationals) Service specialized vegetation equipment: bucket trucks, mechanical tree trimmers, aerial lifts, wood chippers, skid steers, and tractors Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and diesel engines in the field Run diagnostic software to pinpoint faults before you turn a wrench Cover job sites across the four-state region, with most days spent within about 50 miles of home Support storm response when major weather hits the region (seasonal, preferred not required) Keep clean repair records and communicate job status back to fleet operations What We're Looking For Hands-on mechanical background in hydraulics, diesel, or heavy equipment repair Experience with medium-duty chassis Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred, not required) Based in or willing to relocate to the Shreveport area Your own basic hand tools (wrenches, sockets). The company provides specialty tools Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Flexible mindset.
