Job Description
The Navicon Group is a full-service nationwide technology solutions provider. We are looking for a Security Technician to assist in installation for various security projects. Responsibilities Installation, programming, cabling and testing of low voltage and security equipment. Ensure equipment is functional and operational and diagnose causes of problems or failures in systems. Installing door strikes, magnetic locks, panels, power supplies, and other components. Provide technical support to customers including remote phone diagnosis and troubleshooting. Coordinate with Operations Manager with completing service and work orders efficiently. Ability to read writing schematics and blueprints. Requirements Licensed journeymen or Massachusetts Class D Systems Technicians are required. Applicants will be working in both new construction environments and client offices. Experienced in diagnosing and troubleshooting various systems and training/certifications associated with Verkada/Axis Kantech/AXIS/Genetec/Avigilion/Exaq and IT a plus. Neat and professional appearance along with strong work ethic and good communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team and must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
