What they do

A Tree Climber or Trimmer trims and prunes trees. Clears away excess branches near utility lines or over roads or sidewalks. Prunes dead or diseased tree limbs to improve the appearance and health of the tree. Uses rigging equipment and may work from a truck powered lift; uses chain saws and other power equipment.

Job Description

Overview Are you passionate about trees and the great outdoors? Do you have an eye for detail and a drive to help create a collaborative, friendly environment? If so, we want you to be a leader of our dedicated team! Responsibilities Ensure crews stay on task and running smoothly Assess tree health and conditions . Assist with tree care activities such as tree trimming, pruning and removal. Operate various equipment (skid steers, man lift, etc) safely. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any malfunctions as necessary. Qualifications Experience in tree care preferred Management experience preferred Decision making skills Set the standard for professional behavior of the crew Excellent communication skills with crew members and homeowners Must have a valid driver's license, CDL or class A license is a plus Have the ability to lift 75lbs. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to achieving high-quality results in all tasks performed.

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
