A Tree Climber or Trimmer trims and prunes trees. Clears away excess branches near utility lines or over roads or sidewalks. Prunes dead or diseased tree limbs to improve the appearance and health of the tree. Uses rigging equipment and may work from a truck powered lift; uses chain saws and other power equipment.

Responsibilities:
Apply, mix, and handle pesticides in accordance with state and federal regulations Provides customer service and communicates effectively with customers Works responsibly with territory or regional manager to develop and implement strategies based on customer goals and expectations Aid territory or regional managers in sales and consultations Ability to learn and effectively use the company data base and mobile live version for tablet use Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Must have an active valid Department of Agriculture Commercial Pesticide license (state specific) Ability to read, analyze, and interpret company documents. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, clients, staff, vendors, etc. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. Valid driver's license is required; will travel 50-70% of time away from the office during business hours.
