Climber/Lift Operator Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Climber/Lift Operator to join our tree care team. This role involves performing tree trimming, removal, and rigging operations while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. The ideal candidate will have outdoor work experience and be comfortable working at heights using climbing and bucket lift equipment. CDL is preferred but not required. The position includes driving trucks and equipment to job sites and assisting with complex tree removal operations, including the use of grapple saw cranes. Duties Perform tree care tasks such as pruning, trimming, and manual removals to maintain healthy and safe trees. Assist with tree removal operations, including rigging and working with crane equipment such as grapple saw cranes. Operate bucket lifts safely for elevated work at various heights. Use chainsaws and other tools efficiently for cutting and removal tasks. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Drive trucks and transport equipment to different job sites as needed. Support team members in complex tree removal projects, including rigging and crane operations. Experience Prior outdoor work experience, particularly in tree care or related fields. Knowledge of tree trimming, pruning, and removal techniques. Experience with chainsaw operation is preferred. Familiarity with rigging procedures and crane-assisted tree removal is advantageous. Ability to adhere to strict safety guidelines during all aspects of work. CDL license is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain if necessary. $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
