Full-Time Job Summary Jake's Tree Service is seeking a motivated and experienced Tree Climber to join our growing team in Chester, PA. The Tree Climber is responsible for performing tree pruning, removals, rigging operations, and other arboricultural services while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism. This position requires physical stamina, climbing experience, and the ability to work effectively as part of a crew in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Climb trees using ropes, saddles, and other approved climbing systems. Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal work according to industry standards. Safely operate chainsaws, pole saws, and other arborist equipment. Execute rigging procedures for controlled lowering of limbs and tree sections. Inspect trees and identify potential hazards, defects, or safety concerns. Work closely with crew members to ensure safe and efficient job completion. Assist with storm damage cleanup and emergency response services as needed. Maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles in clean and safe working condition. Follow all company safety policies and

safety standards. Communicate professionally with customers and team members on job sites. Assist with ground operations and general tree care duties when not climbing. Complete job-site cleanup and ensure customer properties are left in excellent condition. Qualifications Previous experience as a Tree Climber, Arborist, or Tree Care Professional preferred. Knowledge of tree pruning, removals, rigging, and climbing techniques. Ability to work safely at heights and in varying weather conditions. Experience operating chainsaws and other tree care equipment. Strong understanding of workplace safety practices. Valid driver's license required. CDL preferred but not required. ISA Certified Arborist certification is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to climb and work at significant heights for extended periods. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds. Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in outdoor environments. Comfortable working in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
