A Tree Climber or Trimmer trims and prunes trees. Clears away excess branches near utility lines or over roads or sidewalks. Prunes dead or diseased tree limbs to improve the appearance and health of the tree. Uses rigging equipment and may work from a truck powered lift; uses chain saws and other power equipment.

Job Description
Carolina Specialty Solutions is in search of new team members for an additional crew. We are a Land Services Company that provides services such as; stormwater solutions in regards to detention/retention pond maintenance and repair, erosion control, storm pipe repair and installation, vegetation control, forestry mulching, brush cutting, and tree removal. These services are provided primarily with excavators, skid loaders, and specialized slope tractors for commercial and industrial clients. Primary responsibilities will be performing actions such as operating a slope tractor, operating a chainsaw, using string trimmers, using hedge trimmers, using a backpack blower, etc. Experienced excavator and skid steer operation is a bonus but not necessary. Primary work area is Greenville county but also extends to Charlotte, Columbia, and Charleston. All travel expenses are covered by Carolina Specialty Solutions. Company Truck Provided, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays Experience is NOT needed but a willingness to work, follow instructions, be on time, and ability to drive pick up truck with a trailer are required. Pay range is $18-$24 an hour to start. Raises can be expected with exhibited responsibility and performance.
