Pross Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled Tree Operator / Bucket Operator-Climber to support vegetation management and utility right-of-way maintenance operations. This position is responsible for safely trimming and removing trees near utility infrastructure while operating bucket trucks and specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working around energized utility lines and a strong commitment to safety. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate bucket trucks and other equipment used in vegetation management operations. Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removals in accordance with utility specifications and industry standards. Climb trees when necessary using approved climbing techniques and equipment. Safely operate chainsaws, pole saws, chippers, and other tree-care equipment. Assist with storm restoration and emergency response efforts. Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs. Follow all OSHA, utility, and company safety requirements. Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment and materials. Qualifications Previous tree trimming, climbing, or vegetation management experience preferred. Experience operating bucket trucks and tree-care equipment. Knowledge of safe tree trimming practices around utility lines. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic and attention to safety. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work. Certifications & Requirements Valid driver's license required. CDL preferred but not required. Utility line clearance experience preferred. First Aid/CPR certification is a plus. Must be located in
