Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Agriculture Commercial Loan Officer, where you will play a vital role in fostering growth within the agricultural sector by providing tailored financial solutions. Responsibilities Develop new business opportunities by actively engaging with agricultural clients and promoting our financial products. Manage the entire loan origination process from initial application through processing, underwriting, approval, and closing. Maintain excellent customer service by providing clear communication, explaining loan terms, and addressing client inquiries promptly. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, TILA (Truth in Lending Act), and other relevant federal and state laws during all stages of loan transactions. Monitor mortgage servicing activities post-closing to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and adherence to contractual obligations. Perform credit analysis using math skills and 10-key typing for data entry; evaluate borrower creditworthiness based on financial statements and credit reports. Experience Prior experience as a loan officer or in financial services specializing in agricultural or commercial lending is preferred. Demonstrated success in financial sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management. Proficiency in accounting software, financial software like Quicken, and banking systems for efficient loan origination and documentation management. Knowledge of fair housing regulations, TILA requirements, and contracts related to banking transactions. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform credit analysis using math fundamentals; experience with underwriting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive attitude toward sales and client engagement. $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
