Position:

Aide, Early Childhood Special Educaiton (ECSE)

Location:

La Porte Elementary Assist the teacher(s) in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Assist in the implementation of classroom programs, including the FOCUS (Life Skills) Program, self-help, behavior management and instruction. Work under the general supervision of the supervisor and the immediate direction of a certified teacher. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Valid SBEC Educational Aide certificate Associate's Degree or 48 or more college hours or NCLB ParaEducator Certification issued by San Jacinto College or other local educational entity Other Information Apply online, attaching your resume and letter of interest. The District contributes $400/month to the cost of employee only health insurance, which is $175/month greater than the state required amount of $225/month.
