Markham Aviation Services provides aviation maintenance services focused on piston aircraft, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. We are seeking a skilled and experienced A&P Mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA) to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

As an A&P Mechanic with IA, you will be responsible for performing and overseeing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of piston aircraft. Your expertise will ensure that all work complies with FAA regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft. Annual/ 100hr inspections. Conduct thorough inspections and issue return-to-service authorizations. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and structural issues. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and inspections. Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics.

Qualifications:

Valid A&P certification. Inspection Authorization (IA) certification. Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance. Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and standards. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Effective communication and organizational skills.
