Job Description

What We're Looking For Looking to start a long-term career in the irrigation industry with a growing company that values craftsmanship and technical excellence? We're seeking an Apprentice Lawn Sprinkler Technician who is motivated to learn, detail-oriented, and eager to develop into a high-level service technician. This is not a "driver" position — driving is required, but your primary role is to support and learn from a dedicated Technician Mentor each day in the field. You will work side-by-side with experienced technicians to understand system design, diagnostics, repair methodology, and professional service standards. This is a hands-on, skill-building role designed to develop you into a fully capable Technician. This position requires English proficiency and a clean driving record. Responsibilities Field Support & Daily Learning Assist Technician Mentor with system startups, diagnostics, and repairs Observe and learn troubleshooting methodology and hydraulic problem-solving Support mid-season inspections and performance checks Assist with system shutdowns and winterizations Participate in installation exposure to understand system layout and component integration Technical Skill Development Learn proper rotor, spray, valve, and controller diagnostics Develop understanding of water pressure, flow, and zone performance Practice professional client interaction and service communication Maintain organized trucks, tools, and inventory alongside your Mentor Driving & Logistics Operate company vehicles as needed (clean driving record required) Assist with material transport and jobsite setup Ensure safe vehicle operation and professional presence on client properties Your job is to assist, absorb, and progressively take on more responsibility as your skills develop. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience (construction, landscaping, plumbing, irrigation, etc.) Desire to build a long-term technical career High attention to detail English speaking and writing Coachable and open to structured learning Clean driving record and valid driver's license Professional attitude and strong work ethic Benefits Health insurance 401(k) plan with 4% employer match Winters off 3 bonus periods (startup, summer service, shutdown) About Us Advanced is making premium lawn care easy, sustainable, and professional.
