Aqua Fitness Instructor

We are seeking an engaging, energetic, and wellness-driven Aqua Fitness Instructor to lead guests through thoughtful and inspiring aquatic movement experiences. This role will focus on both General Aqua Fitness classes as well as Aqua Yoga and Aqua Pilates group sessions designed for varying fitness and mobility levels. This individual should bring a strong understanding of movement, water-based exercise, breathwork, mobility, and guest engagement while embodying the calm and hospitality-forward culture of Inness. Classes may range from low-impact recovery and mobility work to more energizing cardio and strength-focused water workouts. Key Responsibilities Lead scheduled group Aqua Fitness classes in a professional and engaging manner Facilitate Aqua Yoga and Aqua Pilates sessions emphasizing breath, balance, flexibility, and mindful movement Modify exercises to accommodate different fitness levels, ages, and physical abilities Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests and members Maintain awareness of pool safety and wellness best practices during all classes Arrive prepared with class plans, music, and any required equipment Collaborate with Spa leadership on programming ideas, seasonal wellness offerings, and special events Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of pool and fitness areas Represent the Inness brand with professionalism, warmth, and hospitality Qualifications Prior experience teaching Aqua Fitness, Water Aerobics, Aqua Yoga, Aqua Pilates, or related aquatic movement classes CPR certified Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create a calm, positive, and motivating guest experience Weekend and holiday availability required What We Offer Opportunity to work at one of the most celebrated spa destinations in the country Beautiful natural work environment in the Hudson Valley Supportive and wellness-focused team culture Employee discounts and property perks Opportunity to contribute to a growing luxury wellness program We welcome instructors who are passionate about movement, hospitality, and creating meaningful wellness experiences in a nature-driven setting.
