Job Description
Interior Architect II
- III Shive-Hattery $65,000.00
- $90,000.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited professional degree program with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design 5-10 years of professional experience, with demonstrated familiarity in interior Workplace design Registered Architect or Interior Designer, or actively pursuing architectural licensure or NCIDQ certification Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (required) Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and SketchUp Demonstrated expertise in workplace test-fit design, including space planning, adjacency studies, and iterative layout development Solid understanding of architectural specifications, International Building Code (IBC), life safety codes, and ADA requirements Experience with furniture and finish selection is preferred, but not required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of independent problem solving Requirements- Interested applicants should submit their cover letter, resume, and portfolio for consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to design discussions, idea generation, collaboration, and creative problem-solving Produce and communicate design concepts through drawings, models, and 3D visualizations Manage the production and coordination of design development and technical documentation Develop and document design and detailing directly in Revit Apply knowledge of programming, planning, and building performance to support design decisions Lead or participate in client and project meetings with architects, interior designers, consultants, and other design professionals Serve as a representative of Shive-Hattery with clients and contractors throughout project delivery Direct, coordinate, and mentor junior staff, supporting their technical and professional development Collaborate with project leadership to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and design intent Why Shive-Hattery?
