Our clients include leaders in healthcare research, K-12 education, higher education, various government agencies and community leaders who utilize our designs to mobilize their work. We are committed to producing quality design and maintaining exceptional relationships with our clients and consultants. Project Architect Colimore Architects is looking for energetic Project Architect who can assist in design and technical drawings. Candidates must be highly adept working within a team-oriented studio environment. Candidates must either be a Licensed Architect, 0r must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience, proficient in Revit and must be well versed in both sustainable design and construction documentation. Project types include residential, commercial, higher education, K12, healthcare and government.
Responsibilities:
Will report to the Project Manager (PM) Works independently on tasks with minimal supervision during the technical and design stages Participates in assisting PM with project coordination with consulting engineers and other team members Participate in internal design charettes Create Revit/3D models for projects and client presentations Participates in assisting PM with project coordination with consulting engineers and other team members Well versed with Code analysis and calculations Attend coordination meetings with consultants and PMs Back check of work delegated to interns Assists PM with construction administration including:
  • Site visits during construction
  • Review of submittals/shop drawings
  • Drafting responses to RFI's
  • Drafting ASI's
  • Reviewing change orders
Required Skills:
Accredited architecture degree Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Must have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail combined with strong communication skills Ability to work both as a team and independently Must control and prioritize their work flow, while coordinating with the staff
