This role is best suited for an experienced architectural professional who can coordinate with principals, clients, consultants, contractors, and internal design staff while producing accurate drawings, clear documentation, and responsive project support. Qualifications:
  • Five-year architectural degree from an NAAB-accredited college or university.
  • Five or more years of experience in the field of architecture, practicing as a Project Architect or Project Manager. Mid-level to advanced experience with AutoCAD is required. Mid-level to advanced experience with Revit is a plus.
  • Experience with other design programs such as SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion, or similar tools is a plus.
Experience:
Management of a project from beginning to end, starting with cost estimating, proposal writing, and preliminary drawings, then moving through all phases of the project - design development, construction documents, bidding, negotiation, spec writing, and construction administration. Ability to work as a team with other licensed architects as well as interior designers, consulting engineers, and general contractors, but also be an independent worker able to problem solve and re-work drawings as instructed by the principal or to better suit the needs of the client.

Competitive annual salary with additional incentive bonuses throughout the year. Paychecks are issued by direct deposit every other Friday. Family friendly working hours of Monday through Thursday from 7am to 5pm and Friday 8am to Noon. Health, Dental, and Vision insurance for the employee at no cost to them. Family members can be added to the Employee's policy at a discounted rate. Life insurance policy for the employee for $25,000 at no cost to them (effective after 90 days) Profit sharing plan with all shares being deposited by the employer at no cost to the employee. Vested after a year of employment and fully vested after 2 years of employment. 401(k) Plan with a 3% employer contribution, provided regardless of whether the employee contributes. Our small office setting is a flexible, comfortable, non-smoking working environment.
Vacation/Sick/Personal Leave:
Vacation - Employees are entitled to vacation at the following rate per year: During the 1st year of employment: none On the 1st anniversary of the hire date: 5 days paid vacation On the 2nd anniversary of the hire date: 10 days paid vacation Each anniversary date thereafter: 10 days paid vacation Sick Leave - 5 Days (40 Hours) excused leave with pay for illness is available to all full-time employees after they have completed three months of service. Excused Leave/Personal Time - 5 Days (40 Hours) excused leave with pay is available to all full-time employees after they have completed three months of service. Reasonable excused time may be taken for the following reasons: Personal or family illness or emergency, Funeral attendance, Medical appointment, Jury duty, Other personal business which cannot be conducted after office hours. Employee benefits and Vacation/Leave policies listed above are extended after a 90-day probationary period.
