This role is responsible for conducting site visits, collaborating with clients and consultants, developing and presenting design proposals, and exploring innovative design concepts. The Project Architect is also responsible for ensuring projects meet client needs and budget constraints. This is a full-time, salary, exempt position. Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Actively participates in project development from programming/conceptual design through construction administration. Prepares project construction documents. Communicates and coordinates with consultants, contractors, owners, and team members. Conducts site visits and assessments. Participates in meetings with clients to understand their project needs and preferences. Develops design concepts and proposals, creating detailed drawings and specifications. Registered Architect in state of Texas or able to get through reciprocity. 5-10 years of experience of community-based design.
