Duties Assist with asphalt paving tasks including spreading, leveling, and compaction to meet project specifications Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and front loader trucks to prepare and move materials efficiently Support the setup and management of traffic control measures for safe work zones in compliance with FMCSA regulations Handle manual labor tasks including lifting heavy materials, using hand tools, and performing roadway repairs Maintain safety protocols on-site by adhering to OSHA standards and construction site safety procedures Use power tools and welding equipment for minor repairs or adjustments on-site Support the operation of dump trucks and commercial trucks for material transport across construction sites Requirements Proven experience in construction or roadwork environments with familiarity in asphalt paving processes Ability to operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and front loader trucks safely and effectively Knowledge of FMCSA regulations related to commercial truck driving and transportation safety standards Mechanical aptitude with understanding of power tools, welding techniques, and basic maintenance of machinery Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work in varying weather conditions, and extended periods of standing or walking Strong commitment to safety protocols and ability to follow detailed instructions on construction sites Prior experience working on roadway construction projects or civil infrastructure roles is highly desirable Join us in building better roads while advancing your skills in a fast-paced construction environment!
