YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A DRIVER'S LICENSE.

Key Responsibilities:

Assists with the application of asphalt on roadways/parking lots/driveways. Work well with other crew members as a team. Learn basic precautions for his/her own personal safety and the safety of co-workers to be observed when using the various tools and equipment.

Daily Responsibilities May Include:

Patch and resurface roads
Clean & sweep roadway, curb, gutter, and sidewalk
Load, transport, and unload equipment, supplies, and materials
Pick up trash and debris from construction areas.
Maintain Traffic (Flagger)
Maintain and clean hand tools, power tools, equipment, vehicles, etc.

Other Requirements:

Employees must maintain the necessary health and physical ability to perform the duties of this position. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds Must be able to perform heavy physical labor outdoors in all types of weather, especially extreme heat. Ability to understand and follow oral instructions and paving protocols Applicants with a valid driver's license may be eligible for higher hourly pay. Asphalt experience is a plus, but not required.
