Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Lute Operator to join our team on construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, specifically Laborers , to ensure the proper compaction of materials for paving and construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and a commitment to safety and quality. Duties Operate roller equipment to compact soil, asphalt, and other materials on construction sites. Collaborate with other heavy equipment operators, including front loader trucks and dump trucks, to facilitate smooth operations. Perform routine maintenance checks on roller machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Assist in the grading process by operating graders and bulldozers as needed. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site to minimize risks and hazards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are stored properly after use. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met. Skills Proficient in heavy equipment operation, particularly rollers, with experience in loader operation being a plus. Familiarity with front loader trucks, dump trucks, caterpillars, graders, and bulldozers is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction site protocols and safety regulations. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues on equipment. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work in all aspects of the job.
