Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Paving or Milling Foreman to lead field operations for asphalt paving or milling projects. In this role, you will supervise the crew, coordinate daily work, ensure projects stay on schedule, maintain quality standards, and follow all safety requirements. You will also work closely with management and serve as the main point of contact between the field crew and the office.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and oversee daily paving or milling activities.

Assign work to crew members and coordinate material deliveries.

Ensure production goals, quality standards, and project schedules are met.

Follow and enforce company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements.

Communicate with plant dispatch and project management about material needs and schedules.

Complete daily production reports, timesheets, and equipment inspection logs.

Train, mentor, and support crew members with ongoing feedback.

Required QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in asphalt paving or milling.

At least 2 years of leadership experience as a Foreman, Supervisor, or Crew Lead.

Ability to operate asphalt paving and milling equipment when needed.

Experience reading project plans, specifications, and grade stakes.

Good communication and organizational skills to work with contractors and inspectors.

Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of density testing, nuclear gauge operations, and asphalt quality control.

Experience managing variable-width paving or complex milling depths on large projects.

Experience training entry-level employees into skilled equipment operators.
