Job Summary - We are seeking an experienced and dependable Infrared Paving Foreman to lead a crew responsible for infrared asphalt repair operations. This role oversees daily jobsite activities, ensures quality work and safe practices, and coordinates materials, equipment, and labor to complete high-performance infrared patching and pavement restoration projects. The ideal candidate has strong asphalt knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to manage production while maintaining safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities - Lead and supervise the daily operations of the infrared paving crew
Operate or oversee the use of infrared asphalt heaters, rollers, and related equipment
Ensure proper prep, heating, blending, and compaction for seamless asphalt repairs
Monitor repair quality and ensure finished patches meet job specifications
Plan daily tasks, assign responsibilities, and manage crew productivity
Coordinate materials, equipment, and truck logistics to and from job sites
Maintain communication with project managers, clients, inspectors, and other trades as needed
Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce PPE use and company safety policies
Keep accurate records of labor, production quantities, materials used, and jobsite conditions
Train and mentor crew members in proper infrared repair techniques and best practices
Troubleshoot issues in the field and make adjustments as necessary to maintain workflow

Strong working knowledge of infrared patching processes, compaction, and finishing
Ability to read and understand job specs, work orders, and site layouts
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
