J & D Seal Tech Corp provides Asphalt paving and related services in Buffalo NY and surrounding areas. The company is committed to delivering quality work and customer service. Joining the team allows one to be part of building lasting infrastructure and their own future. A dedicated and experienced paving foreman is needed to lead and manage an asphalt paving crew. This role requires a hands-on approach and a strong understanding of asphalt paving, quality standards, and safety regulations. The foreman will supervise crew activities, coordinate resources, ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintain a safe work environment Supervise and direct asphalt paving crews ensuring adherence to project specifications and company policies

• Plan daily operations, allocate resources effectively, and prioritize tasks
• Monitor and maintain asphalt quality and compactions standards.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations including OSHA standards
• Conduct pre-job safety meetings and enforce safety protocols
• Coordinate with truck drivers, equipment operators and laborers to maintain smooth workflow
• Identify and trouble shoot issues that may arise during paving operations
• Track production schedules, worker hours, and material usage
• Train and mentor crew members to improve efficiency and performance
• Communicate effectively with Project Manager
• Minimum of 3+ years' experience in asphalt paving, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Extensive knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, materials, and best practices
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
• Understanding of construction safety regulations, OSHA
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and work extended hours.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• CDL driver's license preferred
• Experience operating paving and compaction equipment- skid steers, roller, excavator and skid steer attachments.
