Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Asphalt Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves outdoor work focused on asphalt paving and related activities. Duties Assist in the preparation and installation of asphalt surfaces, including spreading, leveling, and compacting materials. Operate hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, and finishing asphalt surfaces. Support the operation of heavy equipment used in paving projects, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed. Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively under supervision. Requirements Prior outdoor work experience, preferably in construction or paving environments. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing assigned tasks efficiently.
