Foreman Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable Sealcoat Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the application of sealcoating materials to asphalt surfaces to protect and enhance appearance and durability. You will work with a range of tools and equipment to ensure that jobs are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Sealcoat Application:

Apply sealcoat to asphalt surfaces using spray equipment, brushes, or squeegees, ensuring even coverage and proper adhesion.

Surface Preparation:

Prepare surfaces for sealcoating by cleaning, sweeping, pressure washing and removing debris/weeds, oil stains, and cracks.

Crack Filling:

Fill cracks in asphalt before sealcoating to ensure smooth and even coverage.

Equipment Operation:

Operate sealcoating equipment such as sprayers, compressors, and other machinery used for the application process.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance/cleaning on trucks, equipment and tools, ensuring they are functioning correctly and safely.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to company safety standards.

Customer Service:

Interact politely with our customers when necessary, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any questions or concerns.

Teamwork:

Be able to work well in a team environment.

Driving:

Ability to drive a range of trucks from an F150 to all non-CDL vehicles.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in sealcoating, asphalt maintenance, or a related field is preferred but not required if trainable.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to work long hours outdoors in various weather conditions including high heat, lifting and carrying heavy materials and equipment. Attention to

Detail:

Strong focus on quality and accuracy in the application of materials.

License/Certification:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Communication Skills:

Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
